My work seeks to understand the limits of the design process and its effect on the objects that surround us. This process is defined by context and not necessarily any typology or medium of choice. Content lies in the ‘site-specific’ considerations, resulting in a final design or intent. Emphasis is placed on the breadth of the object as an entity and its ability to act across contexts of industrial manufacture, artisan work and even prototype modeling. This foundation provides the possibility for projects to be founded on the notion of flexibility, enabling the user to develop a singular interpretation as opposed to a predefined conception. More than this, I find it crucial that every design can suggest and pose questions at a basic level to each person in a different matter.
I have colaborated and worked with creators such as
Moneo Brock, Juan Uslé / Victoria Civera studio, and Jaime Hayon.
